Right now ...as I write this... It has been more than 28 days since such a heinous and atrocious crime has taken place in the heart of this very city !Yet, almost a month later no justice is served. Recently... an aspiring lady doctor, a PGT student “Tilottoma” hailing from the prestigious...well, now not so prestigious medical college R.G Kar Hospital, Kolkata had been raped & killed brutally by cold blooded animal(s) who don't even deserve the title of being called human(s). I am not going to indulge into the details of the case as the same is all over the press & media.But it is about time people spoke about certain things happening around the city/country/world wide protests. This is not the first time such a heinous crime has been committed ! Over and over our country has seen the same type of crime and yet there is hardly any exemplary justice served. Why?  Excuses like 'she was wearing revealing clothes' are still being presented by the macabre society ! Now, help me understand, was that 3 year old infant who got molested by a family member or an aspiring doctor like “Tilottoma” wearing revealing clothes? I am personally happy after seeing the ceaseless protests by the people and mass but again this is turning into a debate between political parties and precipitating into a gender feud. Don't people feel ashamed when they debate about irrelevant things while such a crime has taken place ? For once... Forget your political beliefs and gender and indulge into the subpoena of giving justice to her, a daughter of our land. Let our voices unite to provide a safe haven for “Bharat Ki Beti”.
