The Quilt of Life: A Journey Through Time's Tapestry
By Harshal Patil
In the vast expanse of existence's quilt,
A stitch in time, our life unfurls, first hinted;
From the embryonic shade, a soul is birthed,
Unto a world of hues, and dreams, and girth.
Journey we embark, on paths unforeseen,
Bearing witness to joy, sorrow's morose scene;
Each step a narrative, woven through days,
With laughter's golden rays and tears that play.
Our feet tread patterns on the vast terrain,
O'er mountains high, through valleys in their reign;
A winding road that twists with fate entwined,
The dance we orchestrate, a sign in time.
We meet with life's characters, their acts and deeds,
Some to cherish, others a bitter seed;
In every heart we touch, each kindred soul,
Exchange of stories, as life's script we unroll.
Across the river of change, we are ferried,
By currents strong or calm, unyielded, merrily;
We grow and learn from each wave and tide,
In every storm that crashes, we abide.
For in life's tapestry, the colors never fade,
Through sunlit mornings and the darkest shade;
No experience trivial nor moment passively spent,
Each holds significance, a value well-intended.
At twilight's end, the vista fills with stars,
Reminding us of heavens far;
The journey we've taken, as life's pulse fades,
Is a mosaic of moments, in glorious shades.
Remember that, my friend, as the last chapter closes,
Your life, a sonnet, its verses and poses;
Though the voyage ends, you've left a trail,
Of footprints in the earth, you'll ne'er fail.
Thus concludes our fated road, in memory held,
A life well-lived, as stories are often told;
May the echoes of your heart, in time, be enrolled,
As a masterpiece of life, an epic well-sculpted, bold.
