Most feminists agree on five basic principles—working to increase equality, expanding human choice, eliminating gender stratification, ending sexual violence, and promoting sexual freedom.
Empowering women involves granting them tools, opportunities, and autonomy. It is essential for rectifying historical discrimination and ensuring fairness. Economic empowerment through education and entrepreneurship is crucial. Education plays a pivotal role in women's empowerment
The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their political, social, economic and health status is a highly important end in itself. In addition, it is essential for the achievement of sustainable development.
Three crucial pillars should be considered to strengthen women's inclusivity: Raising stakeholder awareness, collecting sex-disaggregated data, and implementing gender-sensitive policies
No nation can progress socially or economically if its women are left behind. If the women are not educated if they are not safe if the gender discrimination exists then the nation cannot progress and prosper. Mandatory education of girl child and ensuring that each one of them is sent to school is a grand step towards woman empowerment. An educated woman can well take care of her own needs as well as the needs of her family. They get more say in the political and social setup and are more recognized. Making the women financially independent and safeguarding their interests and rights is the basic fundamental step towards their empowerment. Unless the women are free from gender discrimination and other divisions, an equal and fair society can’t be achieved.
Most of the work done by women in India is unpaid and is in the unorganized sector. Women in India constitute 49% of the agriculture workforce though they hold even less than 2% of the land. Almost half of the women in rural India don’t have a bank account in their own name and a few of them have a valuable asset in their name.
The government of India is making progress by enacting new laws and implementing them, safeguarding the interests of women. The society, as well as other government and private organizations, must come forward to empower women. This has revolutionized the concept of Women empowerment and shows how they are capable of handling families as well as businesses. A recent example is Falguni Nayar, the CEO of Nykaa. Nykaa is an e-commerce website that mainly deals with cosmetic products for women.
In general, feminism can be seen as a movement to put an end to sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression and to achieve full gender equality in law and in practice.
All women have different modes of expression, but each woman carries the universal expressions of four main archetypes embodying the feminine essence: The Maiden, The Wild Woman, The Nurturer, and The Wise Woman. And honestly, women empowerment should not be confined to slogan making and posting banners, it should be deep rooted to every women of our society , from every strata- starting from a vegetable vendor to a lady farmer to a pilot. Only then we can fabricate our women to achieve the unachieved success amidst their hardships and hurdles.
