1. Hello Ankush, how would you define yourself to our readers? Which profession are you working in?

I am currently working as the Chief Editor of the international monthly lifestyle journal The Holistic Pine. I have had the privilege to collaborate with many national and international personalities.

2. When did you start writing? What was your writing experience?

I started writing when I was small. My first poem was published when I was just in class 4th. I have won many competitions and co-authored many anthologies. I write poetry, fiction, nonfiction and all kinds of writing.

I have two books under my name, Letters to Life and Stories from the Soil.

I'm working on my upcoming projects presently.

3. What motivated you in writing? How do you find ideas for your writing?

I believe our experiences make us good writers. Secondly, reading makes a person a good writer. A good reader can produce good content. Of course, it depends on the genre too.

4. What kind of writing do you do? What do you enjoy the most about writing? What do you do apart from writing?

I enjoy writing poetry and nonfiction. I enjoy reading, apart from writing.

5. How do you find time to write, and are you doing something as of now? What is your strength? What suggestion will you give to aspiring writers?

I schedule my life in such a way that I get my daily quota of time to write.

My strength is patience and the capacity to forgive myself. This attitude enables me to be tolerant towards myself even when I do not reach the targets I set for myself.

Now the answer to your next question: I believe writing comes with a flow, and you can't force yourself to write. I am currently working on my upcoming books. I had planned to release them by April this year, but it got delayed.

My advice for aspiring writers is that don't run after perfection and don’t overthink, as both can hamper your writing skills. It's important to trust yourself and come up with your story or poem and let the readers decide.

6. Kindly attach the link to your book so that readers can get a grasp on these beautiful reads.

I’ll share the link to our journal instead for your readers: www.theholisticpine.com

7. Is there any message you want to share with our readers?

Keep reading, keep writing, and keep expressing yourself. Thanks a lot to Roopal and Koala Kraft for interviewing me, and thanks to everyone in your team.
