The Monday Blues

 Blue is the theme of Monday, 

Clues needed to prevent mourning day,

Few cups of coffee to avoid groan day,

Are we in for a week of growls? 

The moon is out, the sun is in!

The first day, of a week with zing,

Don't fret, there is a positive ring,

Grow each day, and avoid a negative fling!

A day before Tuesday, settling for the week,

The spirits are high, and the feeling isn't weak,

Work tasks on a high, devices getting sleek,

The times are different, but some languages seem greek!

First day of the week, peace we seek,

Four days to the weekend, let the energy peak,

What makes us move, also brings a jerk,

Start fresh, don't let out a shriek!

Don't twinkle this Tuesday,

You need a  breather and a say,

Color those patches of gray,

Don't be a sore loser and bray!

It's the second day of the week,

Don't let the idiocy reek,

You'll get smarter with a tweak,

Is it solace that you seek?

Mid-week has 24 hours to go,

Choppy waters, you have to row,

Each effort that makes you grow,

Reap benefits for what you sow!

Stay calm during the turbulence, 

People need your omnipresence,

Smell of roses and jasmine essence,

Time to spend a little of your allowance!
