1.Hello Maniska, how you define yourself to our readers?Which profession are you working in?
Ans- Hello readers! This is Maniska,21, belonging to the holy dham of Puri Odisha.Basically I'm a day dreamer who speaks her heart out, through ink at any emotions; because I believe everything can be expressed by a pen and paper.Currently I'm doing my Bachelor's in Physiotherapy, and soon going to be a doctor by profession to fulfill my childhood dream, and writer by passion.
2.When did you start writing? What was your writing experience?
Ans- As I come from a CBSE background, we were always had to writing in our English literature so it has somehow interesting in my views. Later, I came across Your quote app and tried for writing quotes, poems apart from my course. Of course Lockdown boosted this willingness for writing more and more, and beside the app, I started involving in various contests, open mics and Anthologies.I got more boost when I was featured in national newspapers like, 'Dainik Bhaskar' and 'Dainik Jagran' and this year I got awarded with state level "Rajiv Gandhi Pratibha Puraskar".
3.What motivated you in writing? How do you find ideas for your writing?
Ans- I still remember the poem of Sir Robert Frost, "THE ROAD NOT TAKEN" which was there in our class 9th English textbook, and that literally touched my heart a lot, I started wondering that how could anyone can describe much more in just some lines? And hence, that motivated me to try and thereafter I never looked back.I believe that if you'll sit and think for a particular thing, it won't work! Ideas always comes from Rough! Everything I see, happening around me, or my emotions, do help me to write automatically without any stress. And if it's for a particular topic then I need to think about a scenario, and it can be smoothly penned.
4.What kind of writing you do?What do you enjoy the most about writing? What do you do apart from writing?
Ans- I basically have keen interest in Poetry as I think depicting a story in a creative way is much more interesting. Apart from that I like One-liners based on real life teachings I've got, I also do write nearky every form of writing be it a microtale or article. As I said, writing can describe anything you want to, without the fear of being judged by anyone; and it feels really light when you pen down. So, this is the thing which drive me more crazy towards discovering this field more and more.Apart from writing, I was very passionate about Dancing since childhood, I love to try different forms and I'm very much passionate about that.
5.How do you find time to write and are you doing something as of now? What is your strength?
Ans- So, as in a professional field, it's very difficult to spare particular time for writing! But again it's involuntary, I strongly believe in Universe that when it's the right time for me to express, I'll do that no matter what. And till now I've a Compiler, apart from co-authors. Also, I've been founder of @writersempire_ (ig) where I created a family of writer's and conducting different contests. Currently I've 50+ writers who are there persistently with me no matter what and I'm looking forward for a bigger family. My strength is of course my loved ones, my writer friends, my readers who appreciate my writings, well-wishers and particularly I've 4 people who I always think as my strength of pillar, my mom, my uncle, my best friend Alina, and my brother Krishna. They're there in my ups and downs, always.
6.What suggestion will you give to aspiring writers? What was the most challenging task in your writing career?
Ans- Dear Budding Writers, writing is all about presenting an art in letters to words form! Need not to worry about good or bad, don't be ever afraid of showing it to anyone/ everyone because sometimes what we think as bad is not really that much bad! And if you're thinking how to start?
